Spain Pavilion EXPO 2015

Milan (Italy)

In collabotration with selgascano

The pavilion has the will of being a communication space. It must be immediately understood as such, and hint what is being communicated and who intends to communicate the variety of landscapes which are the base of the diversity and quality of our raw materials.

The combination of tradition and innovation which is behind our products’ excellence and the excellence of Spanish gastronomy itself are on show. The container is a greenhouse which unfolds and models a spatial still-life. We become aware of where we are and in which products and activities we can spot our singularity. The narrative style of the project brings to light the variety and quality of Spanish agriculture and livestock production, blended in perfect harmony with the very best of our gastronomy.

The exhibition is arranged in a way that is understood in direct correlation with the greenhouse itself, container and content become one scenario, which is subsequently fragmented in two formally different parts: the spatial still life linked to the aerial space, and the giant table which fills the ground floor space of the pavilion. This is “Raw Material” and “Elaborated Material”.
