Many places claim to being a ‘crossroads’ of cultures and civilizations, but none probably has greater claim to that than Turkey.
Turkey is home to the only city that straddles two continents, whose many names – Byzantium, Nova Roma, Constantinople, and Istanbul – testify to the country’s occidental and oriental cultural influences. However, it is instead the other way round: it is the history of that region that has defined the continents as we know them today.
From this perspective, we propose our selection of materials with the aim of creating a new ecological landscape system, result of a natural, cultural and economic balance.
We look at materials, that somehow, they have been for centuries and they are still in site and we carry them to effectiveness extreme, to get a smart design, construction and use.
